On Saturday Laura, Homma, Victoria and Brenda hosted a most memorable baby shower. As soon as we walked in the door we were blown away by the amount of detail they put into everything. Sweet little messages about baby girls lined the walls, the water bottles were renamed H2Oliviva, there was a pregatini bar, a chocolate fountain station, a gorgeous polka dot cake, home made bottle cookies, crafts for the kids, a framed picture to sign, beautiful pink flowers throughout, and a delicious spread of food!
From the charades game to "don't say baby" game to what's that product to giving us advice about parenthood the games were entertaining and unique. It was so nice to see friends and family. Several sorority sisters came, including traveling a distance to get there! And we saw friends we had not seen in awhile so it was great to catch up.
We were absolutely blown away by the generous gifts, from a highchair to a stroller/car seat to a baby 4 in 1 play station to a diaper genie to clothes galore and precious blankets, burp cloths, bibs, hair bows, to nursing products to sheet covers and mattress pads to baby essentials and a shopping cart cover-it seems like we have everything we need to bring Baby Olivia home! We were most amazed by the hand crafted gifts friends made-what talented friends and family we have!
The entire afternoon was wonderful and memorable. We can't thank everyone enough for hosting this special event and coming to support us. We feel that we have a huge support system of friends and family who already love Olivia so much.
