The day is almost here! On Saturday afternoon we are going into the hospital to be induced. I will be 39 weeks 1 day on Saturday. The doctor implied that induction will take a LONG time, so it looks like if we are lucky we will have an Easter baby.
Obviously an induction is not what we hoped or wanted for, but all agree it is for the best for the baby and me, so we are going with the flow. I have been given a lot of encouragement from my doula and Bradley instructor that a pain medication-free birth is still possible, even with induction.
We are so appreciative of all the calls and emails and advice. We will definitely keep you all updated over the weekend. Until then there is still lots of stuff we need to tackle before Olivia arrives.
