Fourth of July was a busy and very fun weekend for us. We traveled to Hilton Head Island to meet up with Mom and Dad. Olivia was fantastic during the entire 6 hour car ride. She cooed, giggled and smiled most of the way! Once we were there Mom and Dad so graciously baby sat so that Mark and I could enjoy some time by the pool and beach and go on a date. The weather was fantastic. We were even able to take Olivia outside some of the time and let her see the pool, touch some sand and swing in a hammock. She seemed to really enjoy sitting on the balcony though and getting fresh air.
Sunday we had a bbq with Dad's side of the family. I was able to see my cousins and their children and catch up with everyone! I had not seen anyone since the wedding in 2006 so it was great to get together. That evening we watched fireworks from the beach and when it got a bit too noisy for Olivia we went back to the room and still saw some fireworks from the balcony.
