For a month or so Olivia had been trying to climb the stairs. Under careful supervision she would climb up one stair or two and get distracted and stop. But last week when she thought we were not watching her (but we were) she took off from the foyer, up the stairs as fast as she could go and down the hall upstairs. We were right behind her the entire time but she didn't pay us any attention and kept on going!
Of course now that she has mastered the stairs it is her favorite thing to do! We don't mind as long as we are close by, but to make sure she doesn't attempt the stairs on her own we are in the process of installing baby gates.
