The Magic Biscuit Saga

While in South Africa, Mark's dad (AKA Gramps) crafted the name "Magic Biscuit" for Olivia's teething biscuits, in part because we could give her one and it would entertain her throughout dinner so we could all sit at a table and eat together. Once we returned from South Africa we put the biscuits away, mostly because we weren't eating out and Olivia seemed to have stopped teething as badly. However, in the last several weeks Olivia has been teething a lot with some back teeth coming in and we brought back out the trusty magic biscuits. Only problem is now that she has nine teeth she bites the biscuits and while it used to take 20 minutes to eat one, now she polishes it off in five minutes, completely defeating the "magic" of the treat. Regardless, it entertains her.

Here is a picture of the magic biscuit smeared all over Olivia's sweater dress, face, hands, and walker. What a mess!

Very cute - we are just introducing Xini to the magic biscuit to try and entice her to eat. She is so enthralled by it - it is wonderful. I am not looking forward to it wearing off its magic.
