One of Olivia’s birthday presents was her very own car, a Little Tikes Princess Cozy Coupe, in pink and blue to be precise. While we were admiring the car, one of our party guests remarked to Nana that Olivia was now the proud owner of one of the best-selling in America. When we opened Olivia’s second Cozy Coupe, he replied, “See what I mean?”
Once we were home from the party and Mark was assembling the car, I decided to see what I could find out about this popular ride. And sure enough lots of articles came up about the Cozy Coupe. Apparently the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum inducted the Cozy Coupe into its hall of fame since it sold 457,000 cars in 2008, which was more than the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord.
While Olivia may not realize the car’s popularity she does know it is fun. She was sitting in the driver’s seat even before Mark finished assembling it. She enjoys pushing the car with some help and being pushed around in her ride. We know she will enjoy this car for years to come. So thank you Vicki E., Uncle Dave, Aunt Victoria and Cousin Maxine for Olivia’s first (2) cars. The duplicate car will be returned this afternoon as we let Olivia pick out something else that is just as fun.
