Our neighborhood hosted an Easter Egg hunt today. We had been out of town over the weekend so we rushed to get back in time since the Easter Bunny was making an appearance. The hunt started at 4 and we got home at 3:50 so we were hurrying, but we made it by 4:03. Unfortunately, the hunt was already over. OOPS!
But no worries because Olivia was mostly excited about the Easter Bunny. As we walked to the hunt she started saying "Hello Easter Bunny, we came to see you!" She repeated this over and over and louder and louder until almost everyone at the hunt was watching her.
Of course the Easter Bunny came right over and I frantically tried to get my camera out of the case and capture this first encounter. Olivia had the best time talking to the Easter Bunny, touching his nose, giving him eggs, and checking out his large carrot. Then some sweet little girls shared their eggs and chocolate with Olivia.
Olivia had the BEST time meeting the Easter Bunny. I am so glad we rushed back to make it (almost) in time!

Glad she had so much fun with the Easter Bunny! It is adorable how much the little ones love them so. Sorry you missed the hunt - that was a bummer.
