Lulu: One Sneaky Little Girl

Like many of my friends and fellow bloggers we have an Elf on the Shelf. Lulu arrived the day after Thanksgiving. As we read the book and explained the concept to Olivia her mouth was wide open as she tried to take it all in.

Our elf is not particularly naughty or nice. And I don't get into the whole overachieving elf thing-Lulu basically moves from one area of the house to the other, at times taking a sip of water, working on an art project, or eating marshmellows. Lulu is used as a reminder about good behavior but not as the reason to behave, if that makes sense.

Every morning Olivia is excited to find where Lulu is hiding.  A few days after Lulu arrived, Olivia told me, "That Lulu is one sneaky little girl flying around like that." 

It's fun to have started this silly tradition in our family.
