Mama's Luau

Olivia's class hosted a Mama's Luau today. It was adorable. For the last few weeks Olivia has been working on projects and learning songs for the day. When the mama's arrived we followed Hawaiian flowers on the floor down the hall to the classroom. We walked through flowers into the room which was transformed into a Hawaiian scene. 

We were greeted with a lei and menu of the event.

Next the children sang us songs. M-O-M--M-Y was my favorite. I also loved how at the end of "You Are My Sunshine" the children took a bow and had a sun on their back!!

Surfing was adorable. Olivia memorized the whole routine to show Mark when we got home.

Our lunch was delicious too. I can't thank Olivia's teachers enough for planning such an adorable and memorable event. It was so special!
