Monday Moments: Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend we headed to see family for Mother's Day. On Saturday Olivia played non stop with her aunts and cousins. In the evening we headed to hear the Augusta Symphony and see fireworks. Olivia had fallen asleep during the music but woke up to enjoy the fireworks.

As soon as Olivia woke up Sunday she remembered it was Mother's Day and told me Happy Mother's Day. Then she told me all about the present she made at school. She had been keeping it a secret all week! It was a print book she had been making since September and included hand and foot prints. I was amazed at how much her hands and feet had grown since this past fall!

After opening presents we headed to church and then to Grandmother's house-she had cooked a feast!

All too soon we had to head back home. It was a wonderful mother's day spent with family. I am so thankful to have my wonderful mother in my life. She does so much for our family, and we are so appreciative. Happy Mother's Day!
