While we were visiting Nana and Poppy last week we visited a wildlife reserve. We knew in advance it was going to be pretty rural and a bit tacky but we thought Olivia would enjoy it anyway-and she did! Our hayride was really just a bench nailed onto a trailer but it took us out into a horse field where gorgeous horses came up to the trailer and tried to nuzzle on us. A llama who was best friends with one of the horses also wanted to say HI!
We also saw reptiles, exotic animals and had face painting (by an 11 year old as evident by the finished masterpiece). We managed to spend a few hours there and Olivia told everyone about it. Her favorite part was watching the ostrich "act funny"-apparently the ostrich was mating :-)
