3 Months Old

How can Gracelyn already be 3 months old? This past month she rolled over from her tummy to her back. She also learned to coo and babble and gets so excited when she makes a "loud" noise.  She is still our smiley girl but has been pretty fussy lately with all the teething. Yes, she already has 2 teeth making an appearance. We have an over achiever in the tooth department (but Olivia's first tooth came that early too). We have tried teethers, frozen wash cloths, and Sofia the giraffe but she prefers to chew her hands.

Gracelyn gets the hiccups after every feeding. She still exclusively receives breast milk and eats every 2-3 hours. At night she wakes up anywhere between one and three times. We are still pretty lucky that for the most part she goes right  back to sleep after eating. At night she sleeps in a bassinet but soon we will change her to the pack n play. During the day she will only sleep in her papassan or swing or your arms, never her bed (sigh). Car rides seem to relax her, just make sure you are not in stop and go traffic since she cries at every red light! Being outside also makes her happy. She loves to look up at the sky.

Hitting the 3 month mark means I am headed back to work soon-with reduced hours. I am going to miss our morning snuggle time after Olivia heads to school. The one-on-one time with her is something I treasure.
