Disney Trip-Part One

Shortly before my maternity leave ended, we headed to Disney World. It was Olivia's second visit (see more from her first visit here), but she was too small to remember much about that first trip. We tried to keep things on budget with this trip and stayed at an All Star Resort. Because we stayed on the property we were able to purchase the meal plan (a MUST in my opinion). With that plan we made reservations for several character meals during our visit.

The first day we visited the Magic Kingdom. We quickly learned Olivia did not like any rides that were in the dark, so once we realized that, we stuck with outdoor rides and Olivia was very happy. She rode the carousal five times and Dumbo and It's a Small World twice. We visited with Pooh and friends during lunch (Eeyore spent so much time at our table) and met up with friends for the parade. The park closed at 7 that evening and it started to rain but we still stopped to watch the Fairy Godmother light up the castle-it was magical! Of course we also visited with Minnie and Daisy-Olivia's favorites!
