Big Ole Boo Boo

We knew it was coming.....everyone warned us that when they start walking the bumps and bruises are on their way. And Wednesday we experienced that. Olivia was standing with Nana by the door and suddenly Olivia lost her balance and twisted her body around and right into the side of the sliding glass door. I was in the kitchen and heard this big thud! Surprisingly she didn't cry too long and she was great about letting us put ice on her forehead. We were a bit worried because a big blue line appeared immediately, but a call to my pediatrician friend reassured me that it was only a blood vessel. Today the blue line looks like a scab and while there is a visible bump it isn't as bad as it looked yesterday.
