More on Mother's Day

I wanted to share a picture from Mother’s Day 2011 we took before going out to brunch.

Even with last minute changes to our plans that left Mark scrambling to find reservations for a new restaurant serving brunch, we had a most fantastic Mother’s Day celebration. Mark took my mom and me to Ray’s Killer Creek and we had a delicious meal. Olivia totally understood the concept of an “all-you-can-eat” restaurant. She gobbled down the food, nibbling on cantaloupe, honey dew melon, strawberries, sweet potato, mac n cheese, and basically anything else she could reach on our plates! And she was so well behaved! We were at the restaurant for an hour and a half and she never got fussy, and since we were in a raised booth she got to sit in her first booster seat instead of a high chair (note to new moms, booster seats don’t have buckles, so be careful). For mother’s day, Mark and Olivia gave me a Pandora Murano glass charm and clip to add to my bracelet. They are beautiful and a wonderful reminder of my second mother’s day.
