The first day of our Disney vacation was spent at Animal Kingdom. It was a good park to start at since it is smaller and there were not as many people there. Olivia enjoyed seeing animals on the safari ride since she was too small to remember her first safari ride in South Africa last year.
She also liked walking along the trials viewing the birds and other animals. The sleeping tigers were her favorite. She also loved "digging for bones" in the playground area.
We were a bit surprised at how frightened Olivia was to ride the dinosaur but once we were up in the air she seemed to enjoy it.
During the day Olivia said hi to Goofy and Pluto and she loved waving to Mickey and Minnie at the parade.
She also wasn’t a big fan of It’s a Bug’s Life (mom’s of toddlers, some of those bugs are scary so be prepared) or the animals in Rainforest Café for that matter.
