Monday Moments: Yellow River Ranch
Saturday we braved the cold and headed to Yellow River Ranch. This place is awesome! Several friends and mommy bloggers had mentioned it before so we were excited to have a chance to check it out.
Within minutes of arriving several duck approached Olivia, to which she responded, "I don't like ducks anymore." But once we moved away from the ducks Olivia enjoyed seeing the different animals (black bears, coyotes, groundhogs, foxes, geese, peacocks, goats, sheep, donkeys, bison, turtles, rabbits, deer, mountain lions, bobcats) and even feeding some of them. It was nice to go at our own pace along the trails and see all the animals.
By far the bunny petting area was her favorite. She fed the bunnies and petted them for the longest time. She kept telling the bunnies "Here you go, thank you" as she fed them carrots, crackers, and peanuts.
When we were leaving she laughed and laughed while riding the antique horse and carriage.
We will definitely visit this place again-what a fun day.

Yay! I'm so happy you liked it! Tom LOVES the bunnies the best, too. (And so does Mama.) :)
Addison loved the bunnies as well! I am glad you had such a wonderful time...love that place for the little ones!
