Bedtime Prayers

Last night I was teaching Olivia a good night prayer. I would say a few words and she would say what comes next. She did really great, but I just had to giggle on one line she said about keeping her seat (instead of my soul to keep).

Mama: Now I lay me

Olivia: Down to sleep

Mama: I pray the Lord

Olivia: To keep my seat

Mama: May angels watch me

Olivia: Through the night

Mama: And keep me in

Olivia: Their blessed sight. Amen.
