Nana and Poppy treated our family to a ride on the Polar Express with the Great Smokey Mountain Railway It was set up just like the movie with a conductor taking the gold ticket, hot chocolate and a cookie and visit from Santa who hands out a beautiful engraved bell. It was dark outside so there wasn't much to see until we got to the "North Pole" and saw Ms. Claus and the elves so if we went again we would take an early train ride, but the girls loved it. We went Thanksgiving weekend so it was a great start to the Christmas holidays!
