Birthday Milestone

It's only fitting that on the eve of Olivia's first birthday she started walking. No longer is she teetering with taking a few steps unassisted (which she had been doing for about a month) but last night she walked from the hall to Mark who was in the study without falling down or reaching out to grab onto something. She was so proud of herself and smiled the entire time she was walking towards him. Even better was that Nana and I also were there to witness the occasion. And Nana was on the phone with Grandmother Scott so she got the play by play over the phone! If only we had the video camera near! But capturing the milestone shouldn't be too hard since she has gained walking confidence she wants to continue her new found skill.
